Removal Procedure

- Tools Required
- J21474-S Bushing Receiver
- J21474-18318 Inch Nut
- J21474-19318 Inch Bolt
- J42092 Front Lower Control Arm Horizontal Bushing Remover/Installer kit
- J42112-4 Rear Differential Remover/Installer Tool
- J42200 Rear Lower Control Arm Bushing Remover/Installer Bolt

Caution: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed.

1. Remove the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement.





2. Position the J42092-1 and position the J42092-2.
3. Press out the horizontal bushing.





4. Position the J21474-18 J21474-5, J42112-4 and position the J21474-19.
5. Press out the vertical bushing.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the J21474-18, J21474-5, and position the J21474-19.
2. Press the vertical bushing into the lower control arm until flush.





3. Position the J42091-1 and position the J42092-2.
4. Press the horizontal bushing into the lower control until flush.
5. Install the lower control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement.
