Generator Cooling Duct Replacement
REMOVAL PROCEDURE1. Disconnect the intake air resonator hose from the air filler housing (1).
2. Remove the air filter housing assembly.
^ Lift up to release the air filter housing from the lower rubber grommet.
^ Push the air filter housing away from the fender to release both side mounted rubber grommets.
^ Remove the air filter housing, with the flexible fresh air intake hose, from the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the generator cooling duct from the generator cooling duct cap.
4. Disconnect the generator cooling duct from the generator cooling duct fresh air intake.
5. Remove the generator cooling duct from the vehicle.
6. If replacing the generator cooling duct fresh air intake:
^ Remove the radiator.
^ Remove the generator cooling duct fresh air intake.
7. If replacing the generator cooling duct cap:
^ Remove the generator.
^ Remove the generator cooling duct cap.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. If the generator cooling duct cap was replaced:
^ Install the generator cooling duct cap.
^ Install the generator.
2. If the generator cooling duct fresh air intake was replaced:
^ Install the generator cooling duct fresh air intake.
^ Install the radiator.
3. Install the generator cooling duct to the vehicle.
4. Connect the generator cooling duct to the generator cooling duct fresh air intake.
5. Connect the generator cooling duct to the generator cooling duct cap.
6. Install the air filter housing assembly.
^ Install the air filter housing, with the flexible fresh air intake hose, to the vehicle.
^ Push the air filter housing towards the fender to engage both side mounted rubber grommets.
^ Push down to engage the air filter housing to the lower rubber grommet.
^ Connect the intake air resonator hose to the air filter housing (1).
