Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Replacement





REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disable SIR system.
2. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
3. Remove the steering wheel.
4. Remove the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
5. Remove the steering wheel tilt lever.
6. Disconnect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil wiring harness connector.
7. Remove all retaining rings and clips.
8. Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil from the steering column.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Center the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil before installing it to the steering column.
2. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil to the steering column.
3. Connect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil wiring harness connector.
4. Install the steering wheel tilt lever.
5. Install the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
6. Install the steering wheel.
7. Install the inflatable restraint steering wheel module.
8. Enable SIR system.
