Map Light: Description and Operation

The reading lamps are part of the dome and reading lamps assembly and is mounted to the headliner near the windshield, each reading lamp may be manually turned on or off using it's own respective switch when the ignition is in RUN or after a door has been opened, activating the delay interior relay. The reading lamps will operate ten minutes after the ignition switch has been turn OFF.

The reading lamps receive voltage from the delayed interior lamps relay anytime the BCM is awake. The reading lamps receive ground from their individual switches.
