Air Mix Actuator Replacement - Passenger

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
The passenger side air mix actuator is located on the lower RH side of the HVAC module. The actuator is below and forward of the heater core.




1. Remove the RF floor air outlet.
2. Remove the passenger side air mix actuator cover screws.
3. Remove the passenger side air mix actuator cover (1).
4. Disconnect the passenger side air mix actuator electrical connector (3).
5. Remove the passenger side air mix actuator screws (2).
6. Remove the linkage (from the passenger side air mix actuator.
7. Remove the passenger side air mix actuator.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the passenger side air mix actuator.
2. Install the linkage (2) to the passenger side air mix actuator.
3. Install the passenger side air mix actuator screws until fully seated and not stripped.
4. Connect the passenger side air mix actuator electrical connector (3).
5. Install the passenger side air mix actuator cover (1).
6. Install the passenger side air mix actuator cover screws until fully seated and not stripped.
7. Install the RF floor air outlet.
8. Synchronize the actuators:
^ Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
^ Simultaneously press and hold the AUTO and OFF buttons on the H-A/C control panel for at least 5 seconds.
