Fuel Tank Heat Shield Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the nut from the driver side rear inner tie rod mount.
3. Remove the heat shield.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the heat shield.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the nut onto the driver side rear inner tie rod mount.
Tighten the nut to 60 Nm (44 lbs. lbs.).
3. Inspect all exhaust system clearances. Refer to Exhaust System Clearances.
4. Lower the vehicle.
