65. Drive Belt Installation

1. Route the accessory drive belt over all of the accessory pulleys EXCEPT the water pump pulley.





2. Use a wrench on the center bolt of the tensioner pulley (5) and rotate downward to release drive belt tension.
3. Install the drive belt over the water pump pulley, then, release the tensioner pulley.
4. Inspect the drive belt to ensure it is properly seated in all of the accessory drive pulleys.
5. Install the AIR pipe.
6. Install the AIR pipe clamps (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

7. Install the upper generator nut (6).
Tighten the upper generator nut (6) to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the AIR pipe bracket nut (1).
Tighten the AIR pipe bracket nut to 12 Nm (108 inch lbs.).
