25. Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Removal
^ Tool Required- J 42067 Rear Main Oil Sealer Installer
1. Remove the flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement.
2. Center punch the steel ring of the rear main oil seal.
Important: Use caution when drilling the hole so as not to damage the engine components on the opposite side of the rear main oil seal.
3. Carefully drill a small, shallow, pilot hole into the steel ring of the rear main oil seal.
4. Screw in a self-tapping screw.
5. Use pliers to pull the rear main oil seal out.
