Vacuum Brake Booster Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the power brake booster vacuum hose (1) from the grommet in the booster.





2. Remove the power brake booster vacuum hose from the clips (3).
3. Remove the vacuum connectors (2) from the check valve.
4. Remove the power brake booster vacuum hose nut (1) from the intake plenum.
5. Remove the power brake booster vacuum hose.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the power brake booster vacuum hose.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the power brake booster vacuum hose nut (1) to the intake plenum.
^ Tighten the power brake booster vacuum hose nut (1) to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the vacuum connectors (2) to the check valve.
4. Install the power brake booster vacuum hose into the clips (3).





5. Install the power brake booster vacuum hose (1) to the grommet in the booster.
