Brake Pipe Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Clean any dirt and/or foreign material from the hose and brake pipe fittings.
3. Remove the brake pipe from the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).





4. Remove the brake pipe retainer (2) from the brake pipe (1).
5. Remove the brake pipe (1) from the front brake hose (3).
6. Remove the brake pipe.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the brake pipe.





2. Install the brake pipe (1) to the front brake hose (3).
3. Install the brake pipe retainer (2) to the brake pipe (1).
4. Install the brake pipe to the Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM).
5. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding.
6. Lower the vehicle.
