Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Turn the Ignition switch to the OFF position.





2. Remove BPMV and EBTCM (1) as an assembly from the BPMV bracket (7). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement
3. Remove the three BPMV bracket bolts (3) (4) and (8) attaching the BPMV bracket (7) to the frame side member.
4. Remove the BPMV bracket (7) from the vehicle. Transfer the heat shield if replacing the bracket.

Installation Procedure
1. Install the BPMV bracket (7) to the frame side member.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.





2. Install the three BPMV bracket bolts (3) (4) and (8).
^ Tighten the three BPMV bracket bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
&Install the BPMV and EBTCM (1) as an assembly to the BPMV bracket (7). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Replacement
4. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, engine off.
5. Perform the A Diagnostic System Check - ABS
