Lock Actuator Replacement - Rear Door

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the door water deflector.
3. Remove the inside door handle.
4. Remove all the rods that attach to the lock assembly.
5. Remove the door lock actuator electrical connector.
6. Remove the door lock screws.
7. Remove the door lock.
8. Remove the door lock actuator screws.
9. Remove the door lock actuator from door lock.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the door lock actuator to the door lock.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the door lock actuator screws.

Tighten
Tighten the door lock actuator screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

3. Install the door lock.
4. Install the door lock screws.

Tighten
Tighten the door lock screws to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

5. Install the door lock actuator electrical connector.
6. Install all the rods that attach to the lock assembly.
7. Install the inside door handle.
8. Install the door water deflector.
9. Install the door trim panel.
