Enabling

1. Connect the RH inflatable restraint front side impact module 2-way connector (if equipped with side air bags).
2. Connect the Connector Position Assurance (CPA) to the RH inflatable restraint front side impact module 2-way connector (if equipped with side air bags).
3. Connect the passenger seat belt pretensioner 2-way connector to inline connector C316.
4. Install the RH outer seat track cover.
5. Connect the LH inflatable restraint front side impact module 2-way connector (if equipped with side air bags).
6. Connect the connector position assurance (CPA) to the LH inflatable restraint front side impact module 2-way connector (if equipped with side air bags).
7. Connect the driver seat belt pretensioner 2-way connector to inline connector C315.
8. Install the LH outer seat track cover.
9. Connect the inflatable restraint IP module 2-way connector (1).
10. Connect the connector position assurance (CPA) to the inflatable restraint IP module 2-way connector.
11. Install the inflatable restraint IP module cover.




12. Connect the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil wiring harness connector from the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil.
13. Install the upper and lower steering column covers.
14. Staying well away from the air bags and the pretensioners, turn ON the ignition.
14.1. The AIR BAG warning lamp will flash seven times.
14.2. The AIR BAG warning lamp will then turn OFF.
15. Perform A Diagnostic System Check - SIR if the AIR BAG warning lamp does not operate as described.
