Ash Tray: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Set the parking brake and move the shifter selector to the full rear position.
2. Open the ashtray.
3. Release the outer tray cover from the right side of the assembly and remove.




4. Remove the screw from the rear of the ashtray.
5. Remove the ashtray from the instrument panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the ashtray to the instrument panel.
2. Install the screw to the rear of the ashtray.

Tighten
Tighten the screw until fully seated but not stripped.




3. Install the outer tray cover to the ashtray assembly.
4. Close the ashtray.
Install the shifter selector to the full forward position and release the parking brake.
