Rear Door Striker: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Mark the position of the striker.
2. Remove the striker screws.
3. Remove the striker.
4. Remove the spacers, if equipped.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install any spacers that were removed.
2. Install the striker at the matchmark.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the striker screws.

Tighten
Tighten the door lock striker screws to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

4. Clean off the matchmark.
5. Adjust the striker if necessary. Refer to Door Striker Adjustment - Rear Door.
