CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The memory seat module supplies 5 Volts and low reference to the LH outside rearview mirror. The memory seat module monitors the voltage of the horizontal and vertical signal circuits of the LH outside rearview mirror to determine the position of the mirror. The normal voltage range is between 0.16 Volts and 4.6 Volts.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
One of the following conditions can cause this DTC to set:
^ No mirror movement detected by the memory seat during a memory recall command.
^ Voltage on the horizontal or vertical signal circuit of the LH outside rearview mirror is less than 0.16 Volts or greater than 4.6 Volts.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The automatic adjustment of the LH outside rearview mirror is disable.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
The DTC will clear from current status when one of the following conditions is met:
^ Mirror movement is regained during a command from the memory seat module.
^ Voltage is between 0.16 Volts and 4.6 Volts on the horizontal or vertical signal circuit of the LH outside rearview mirror.

TEST DESCRIPTION
The number(s) below refer to the step number(s) on the diagnostic table.
10. Tests for the proper operation of the circuit in the high voltage range.
11. Tests for the proper operation of the circuit in the low voltage range. If the fuse in the jumper opens when you perform this test, the signal circuit is shorted to voltage.
12. Tests for a short to ground in the 5 volt reference circuit.
13. Tests for the proper operation of the circuit in the high voltage range.
14. Tests for the proper operation of the circuit in the low voltage range. If the fuse in the jumper opens when you perform this test, the signal circuit is shorted to voltage.
15. Tests for a short to ground in the 5 volt reference circuit.
