REMOVAL PROCEDURE

^ Tools Required
- J 6627-A Tie Rod Puller

1. Raise the vehicle and support the vehicle with a jackstand.
2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
3. Remove the brake caliper and mounting bracket.
4. Remove the brake rotor.
5. Remove the dust shield.





6. Install the J 6627-A and press the stud out.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the new stud using washers and a wheel nut.
2. Install a dust shield.
3. Install the brake rotor.
4. Install the brake caliper and mounting bracket using new caliper mounting bolts.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

5. Install tire and wheel assembly.
^ Tighten the wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 ft. lbs.).

6. Lower the vehicle.
