Windshield Wiper & Washer Switch - Disassemble

DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT: Check the fused jumper assembly for burnt 2 fuses before doing this procedure.





1. Only remove up to the lock housing cover assembly. Do not remove the steering column housing assembly unless necessary.
2. Remove the lock housing cover assembly.
3. Remove the secondary lock from the pivot and pulse connector.
4. Pull the terminal lead out of the pivot and pulse connector.





5. Slide the pivot and pulse connector out of the bulk head connector.
6. Disconnect the pivot and pulse assembly from the fused jumper assembly.





7. Attach a wire to the pivot and pulse switch assembly connector. This will make installation easier.
8. Pull the pivot and pulse switch assembly (1) out through the column.
