Parking Brake Warning Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE





1. Remove the left sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
2. Remove the vacuum line (2) from the release actuator.
3. Remove the release actuator.
4. Remove the electrical connector (1) from the park brake lamp switch.
5. Remove the park brake switch.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE





1. Install the park brake switch.
2. Install the electrical connector (1) to the park lamp switch.
3. Install the release actuator.
4. Install the release actuator vacuum line (2) to the release actuator.
5. Install the left sound insulator. Refer to Closeout Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in body.
