Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the cruise control cable (2) from the bracket.
2. Remove the accelerator control cable (3) from the bracket.

Description:

3. Remove the accelerator controls cable bracket bolts.
4. Remove the accelerator control cable bracket.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Description:

1. Install the accelerator control cable bracket.

NOTE: Refer to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Reinstall the accelerator controls cable bracket bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).




3. Reinstall the accelerator control cable (3) to the bracket.
4. Reinstall the cruise control (2) to the bracket.
