Intake Air Duct: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Loosen both intake air duct clamps (2) (5).
2. Remove intake air duct from air cleaner and rotate intake air duct upwards around the MAF sensor.

Air Cleaner Housing:

3. Remove the intake air duct by pulling upwards and inboard.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Rotate the intake air duct (1) down.
2. Install the intake air duct onto the air cleaner cover.
3. Install the intake air duct clamps (2), (5) at the intake air duct.

Refer to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten both intake air duct clamps to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
