Fog/Driving Lamp: Adjustments

Proper road illumination and safety require aiming the fog lamps.
1. Place the vehicle on a level surface 7.6 m (25 ft) from a wall or other flat surface.
2. Measure the distance from the floor to the center of the fog lamp (5).
3. Using this measurement, mark the horizontal centerline of the fog lamp (1) on the flat surface directly in front of the vehicle.
4. Turn the fog lamps on.
5. Adjust the fog lamp (5) 50 that the top edge of the fog lamp beam pattern (2) is 100 mm (4 in) below the horizontal centerline (1).
