Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Pry the carpet-trimmed cover from the high-mounted stoplamp.
2. Remove the screw (4).
3. Pull the stoplamp (1) toward the front of the vehicle and up in order to disengage the retainers.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (5).
5. Remove the stoplamp (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the stoplamp (1) to the vehicle.
2. Connect the electrical connectors (5).
3. Engage the stoplamp (1) to the retaining holes in the rear shelf panel (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. install the screw (4).

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the high-mounted stoplamp cover.
