Dashes Displayed In Fuel Data Center

If a malfunction occurs in the serial data communications from the IPC to the PCM, dashes are displayed in the fuel data center display. Diagnose this symptom by retrieving and diagnosing the PCM or IPC serial data communication DTCs.
