BATTERY NOT CHARGING
The IPC monitors the alternator L terminal input on IPC connector C1 terminal A9. The IPC uses the input in order to determine when to set IPC DTC B1911 current. The IPC uses this input when the L terminal is low and the engine runs over 600 RPM for more than 2 seconds. If the alternator is not charging, the L terminal input is low (ground). If the alternator is charging, the L terminal input is at the ignition voltage. When DTC B1911 is set current, the IPC displays the message and illuminates the battery indicator.
