48. Reverse Clutch Piston Installation

^ Tools Required
- J 23327 Clutch Spring Compressor





1. Install the reverse clutch piston inner seal (608) and the outer seal (609). Lubricate the seals with DEXRON(R)III automatic transmission fluid.
2. Install the reverse clutch piston (610).
3. Install the reverse clutch piston return springs (611).
4. Install the spring seat (612).





5. Install J23327.
6. Compress the reverse clutch piston return springs (611).
7. Install the reverse clutch piston return spring seat retainer ring (613).
8. Remove the tools.
