35. Input Sprag Assembly Installation

- J 38450-A Third Clutch Sprag Retaining Ring Tool





1. Install the input sun gear assembly (646) into the third clutch housing (634).
2. Slightly rotate the sprag race (647) to engage the race into the third clutch housing (634).
3. Install one J 38450-A at each extremity of the retainer ring (648).
4. Compress the sprag retainer ring (648) using a screwdriver opposite J 38450-A while pushing down on the outer sprag race (647).
5. Engage the sprag retainer ring into the groove in the third clutch housing (634).
6. Remove the tools.
