REMOVAL PROCEDURE

TOOLS REQUIRED
J42960-1 Fuel Tank Drain Hose

CAUTION: Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Caution in Service Precautions.

1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief Procedure.
2. Insert the J 42960-1 fuel tank drain hose into the fuel tank.
3. Position an approved drain container near the vehicle.
4. Use an air operated pump to drain the tank into an approved container.
