Rear Combination Lamp Assembly Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Open the storage/cd player door (3) if replacing the passenger side combination lamp assembly.




3. Remove the spare tire if replacing the driver's side combination lamp assembly.
4. Disconnect the electrical connection.




5. Remove the four nuts retaining the tail/[1][2]turn signal lamp.
6. Remove the tail/[1][2]turn signal lamp.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the tail/[1][2]turn signal lamp.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts retaining the tail/[1][2]turn signal lamp.

Tighten
Tighten the tail/turn signal nuts until fully seated but not stripped.




3. Connect the electrical connection.
4. Install the spare tire if replacement of the driver's side tail lamp was performed.




5. Close the storage/cd player door (3) if replacement of the passenger side tail lamp was performed.
6. Close the rear compartment lid.
