Power Seats - Mechanical Diagnostics Of Adjuster

POWER SEAT ADJUSTER
The following symptoms refer to mechanical operation of power eat adjusters with a power recliner. For electrical diagnosis refer to Power Seats System Check. System Check - Power Seats
1. One adjuster reaches maximum horizontal position before the other adjuster. The adjuster may be out of phase.
2. The seat does not move smoothly. Adjusters may not be properly lubricated.
3. One adjuster will not move forward and backward. The driveshafts may be jammed or damaged.
