Instrument Panel (IP) - Accessory Trim Plate Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE



1. Remove the front ashtray
2. Remove the traction control switch cover.




3. Remove the traction control switch by depressing the tabs and pulling the switch rearward.




4. Remove the hazard switch cover.




5. Remove the hazard switch by depressing the tabs and pulling the switch rearward




6. Remove the fuel door switch.




7. Remove the trunk switch.
8. Remove the heated seat switches.




9. Remove the radio bezel screw covers.
10. Remove the radio bezel screws.

IMPORTANT: In order to aid the installation, mark the position of the switch electrical connectors before removing the connectors from the radio trim bezel.

11. Remove the traction control and the hazard switch electrical connectors from the bezel by sliding the connectors out.
12. Remove the following wiring connectors from the bezel:
^ Trunk
^ Fuel door
^ Heated seat switch
13. Remove the ashtray electrical connector from the bezel.
14. Remove the radio bezel from the instrument panel.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE



1. Install the ashtray electrical connector to the bezel.
2. Install the following wiring connectors to the radio trim bezel:
^ Trunk
^ Fuel door
^ Heated seat switch
3. Install the traction control and the hazard switch electrical connectors to the radio trim bezel by sliding the connectors into place.
4. Install the radio bezel to the instrument panel.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

5. Install the radio bezel screws.

Tighten
Tighten the radio bezel screws until fully seated but not stripped.

6. Install the radio bezel screw covers.




7. Install the heated seat switches to the radio trim bezel.
8. Install the trunk switch to the radio trim bezel.
9. Install the fuel door switch.
10. Install the traction control switch to the radio trim bezel.




11. Install the cover to the traction control switch.
12. Install the hazard switch to the radio trim bezel.
13. Install the hazard switch cover.
14. Install the front ashtray.
