Troubleshooting Hints - Power Windows
PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS1. Check operation of Retained Accessory Power (RAP): refer to Accessory Delay Module for Diagnosis. Accessory Delay Module
2. If all power windows are inoperative, check condition of the WINDOWS circuit breaker (by operating sunroof, if equipped).
3. Check that the power windows are free of mechanical binding; refer to Doors.
4. If a rear power window is inoperative from the LH front power window switch but works from the rear power window switch, replace the LH front power window switch.
5. If LH front power window express down feature is inoperative but the power window operates when the switch is held, replace the LH front power window switch.
6. If RH front power window does not operate from LH front power window switch but works from RH front power window switch:
^ Check CKT 70 (PNK) for an open.
^ Check that LH front power window switch connectors are clean and tight.
^ If OK, replace the LH front power window switch.
7. Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems. (Refer to "General Troubleshooting Procedures,"). Diagnostic Aids
