Key-In-Ignition Warning (Medium Chime)

When the ignition switch in the ACCY or the LOCK position, the IP connector C2 terminal B7, CKT 80 (LT GRN), is grounded by the key-in ignition switch. When the IPC detects this ground, the PC receives a Class 2 serial data line message if the left front door is open. The IPC will send a Class 2 serial data line message requesting that the IRC turn ON the medium chime.

When the ground is removed from the IPC connector C2 terminal B7, the IPC receives a Class 2 serial data line message if the left front door is closed. The IPC then sends a Class 2 serial data line message requesting that the IRC turn OFF the medium chime.
