Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. Check radio for normal operation.
2. Visually check rear compartment fuse block ANTENNA Fuse for an open.
3. If power antenna mast extends or retracts part way, check mast for dirty or bent condition. If mast is dirty or bent, clean off dirt and straighten or replace mast. If mast is clean and straight, replace Antenna Motor.
4. If antenna retracts as soon as ignition switch is turned OFF (radio ON, doors not open), refer to Retained Accessory Power Diagnosis. Accessory Delay Module
