Circuit Description

The remote function actuator (RFA) module performs this test every time the module processes a message from a transmitter.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The remote function actuator (RFA) module will set this DTC if the module receives a transmission from a transmitter that is not synchronized with the RFA module.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

^ The remote function actuator (RFA) module stores a DTC B3108 in memory.
^ No driver warning message is displayed for this DTC.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

The remote function actuator (RFA) module will clear this DTC when a transmission is received from a valid synchronized transmitter.

Diagnostic Aids

This DTC will stay in memory as current until the module receives a valid transmission from one of the remote function actuator (RFA) transmitters.
