B1007
Circuit Description
The remote tunction actuator (RFA) module performs internal tests on the EEPROM each time the RFA module performs a write function to a memory address in the EEPROM.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The remote function actuator (RFA) module reads back the data that has been written and compares the data. If the data does not match after 3 consecutive write and verify attempts, the RFA module will indicate a write malfunction as current.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
^ The remote function actuator (RFA) module stores a DTC B1007 in memory.
^ No driver warning message is displayed for this DTC.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The remote function actuator (RFA) module no longer detects an internal write malfunction.
Diagnostic Aids
The EEPROM cannot be removed from the remote function actuator (RFA) module.
