Circuit Description
The remote function actuator (RFA) module performs a self-test on its internal memory when the ignition is cycled to ON.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
The remote function actuator (RFA) module will set this DTC if the module fails the internal ROM to RAM write test.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
^ A DTC B1000 is stored in the remote function actuator (RFA) module memory.
^ No driver warning message is displayed for this DTC.
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
^ The RFA module passes the self test at power up.
^ The ignition must be cycled from OFF to ON for this DTC to change from current to history.
Diagnostic Aids
^ This DTC will stay current in the memory until the RFA module receives a passed test message after the power up self-test.
^ The DTC will show a test not passed since last cleared on the scan tool.
