Forward Band Servo Piston Installation

^ Tools Required
- J 38428 Servo Piston Ring Sleeve
- J 23075 Servo and Clutch Piston Compressor





1. Install the servo apply rod (102). The round end goes into the case. Make sure the apply rod engages with the band.
2. Install the servo piston return spring (103).





3. Install J 38428 over the servo piston assembly (1106).
4. Install the servo piston assembly (106) into the transmission case.
5. Install J 2307. The tool offset faces toward the rear of the case.
6. Compress the servo piston return spring.
7. Install the servo piston retainer ring.
8. Remove tools.
