Variable Induction Control Solenoid: Service and Repair

Intake Plenum:

REMOVAL
Numbers in text correspond to numbered components in image.

1. Remove the wiring harness plug from the solenoid valve and the vacuum hoses (1). If necessary, remove the mounting straps from the wiring harness plug.
2. Remove the solenoid valve (2) from the intake plenum.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the solenoid valve (2) on the intake plenum.
2. Install the wiring harness plug to the solenoid valve and the vacuum hoses (1). Then, fasten the vacuum hoses to the wiring harness plug with the mounting strap.
