Headlamp Assembly Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Open the hood.
2. Unscrew the self-locking tab from the appropriate radiator cover.
3. Unclip the self-locking tab from the body.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Removal Procedure:

4. Remove front grill assembly.
5. Remove the headlamp filler trim screw.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Removal Procedure:

6. Angle out the lower headlamp filler trim to release the locking tab.
7. Remove the headlamp filler trim.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Removal Procedure:

8. Remove the front grille assembly mounting bracket screws.
9. Remove the front grille assembly mounting bracket.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Removal Procedure:

10. Remove the electrical connection from the headlamp.
11. Remove the turn signal bulb socket from the headlamp.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Removal Procedure:

12. Remove the three headlamp screws.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Removal Procedure:

13. Remove the headlamp.
14. Transfer the high beam bulb.
15. Transfer the low beam bulb.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the headlamp.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Installation Procedure:

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the three headlamp screws.

Tighten
Tighten the three headlamp screws until fully seated. Ensure not to strip the three headlamp screws.

3. Install the turn signal bulb socket to the head lamp.

4. Install the electrical connection to the headlamp.

5. Install the front grille assembly mounting bracket.
6. Install the front grille assembly mounting bracket screws.

Tighten
Tighten the front grille assembly mounting bracket screws until fully seated. Ensure no to strip the front grille assembly mounting bracket screws. Ensure not to strip the plastic inserts.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Installation Procedure:

7. Angle in the locking tab to install the headlamp filler trim.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Installation Procedure:

8. Install the headlamp filler trim screw.

Tighten
Tighten the headlamp filler trim screw until fully seated. Ensure not to strip the headlamp filler trim screw. Ensure not to strip the plastic insert.

9. Install the front grille assembly.

Headlamp Assembly Replacement: Installation Procedure:

10. Seat the tab to the body of the appropriate radiator cover.
11. Secure the radiator cover by turning the self-locking tab.
12. Close the hood.
