Memory Seat Description

1. The memory seats are not like the electrically adjustable seats without memory. In addition potentiometer are attached to the seat actuator motors which constantly report the current seat position to the memory module.
2. The seat actuator motors are equipped with overload protectors. If the sets meet an obstruction the current supply to the actuator motor is interrupted. If the actuator motor for longitudinal adjustment should malfunction the seat can be adjusted with an emergency crank tool stored in the vehicle tool set.
3. Four actuator motors are required for the eight adjustment options. Three of these (seat longitudinal adjustment, seat height adjustment and seat inclination adjustment) are located in the seat cushion. The actuator motor for the seatback recliner adjustment is located in the seatback.
