Seat Back Replacement: Front

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Seat Back Replacement (Front): Removal Procedure:




1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
3. Remove the front seat memory module electrical connectors.
The wiring harness (1) is routed under the front seat cushion frame and is secured by the straps (2).
4. Remove the front seat cushion inner finish panel by unsnapping.
5. Remove the seatback panel.
6. Remove the front seatback heating element and seatback power recliner electrical connector.
7. Remove inflatable restraint front seat module electrical connector, if equipped.

8. Un route inflatable restraint front seat module electrical wiring from seat if equipped.

Seat Back Replacement (Front): Removal Procedure:




9. Remove front seatback inner and outer clips.
10. Remove the front seatback inner and outer bolts.
11. Remove the front seatback from seat cushion.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Seat Back Replacement (Front): Installation Procedure:




1. Install the front seatback to front seat cushion.
2. Install the front seatback inner and outer bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the front seatback inner and outer bolts to 45 N.m (35 lb ft).

3. Install the front seatback inner and outer clips.

4. Route inflatable restraint front seat module electrical wiring to seat it equipped.
5. Install the inflatable restraint front seat module electrical connector if equipped.
6. Install the seatback panel.
7. Install the front seatback heating element and seatback power recliner electrical connectors.

8. Install the front seat cushion inner finish panel by snapping on.

9. Install the front seat memory module electrical connectors.
The wiring harness is routed under the front seat cushion frame. Tie straps must be installed to prevent damage to the wiring harness.
10. Install the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
11. Install the front seat.
