REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement - Power: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
3. Remove the seat memory module electrical connectors
4. Remove the seat adjuster bolts.
5. Remove the seat adjuster with actuator motors attached.
Disconnect the three driveshafts from the actuator motors and seat adjuster.
6. Remove the seat belt buckle pretension if removing inner seat adjuster.
7. Remove the seat adjuster actuator motor nut(s).
8. Remove the seat adjuster actuator motor(s) form seat adjuster.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Seat Adjuster Mechanism Replacement - Power: Installation Procedure:

1. Adjust seat adjuster phase.
2. Install the seat adjuster actuator motor(s) to seat adjuster.
3. Install the adjuster actuator motor nut(s).

Tighten
Tighten the seat adjuster actuator motor nuts 10 N.m (89 lb in).

4. Install the seat belt buckle pretension if removed
5. Install the seat adjuster with actuator motors attached.
Install the three driveshafts back into the actuator motors and seat adjusters. Make sure seat adjuster are properly phased before installing driveshafts.
6. Install the adjuster bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the seat adjuster bolts 25 N.m (19 lb ft).

7. Seat the memory module electrical connectors.
8. Install the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
9. Install the front seat. Refer to Front Seat.
