Actuator Replacement - Front and Rear Vertical

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Actuator Replacement - Front and Rear Vertical: Removal Procedure:

This procedure is for servicing passenger front seat which has a power height adjuster and manual horizontal adjuster. If servicing the drivers seat, refer to Power Seat Adjuster.
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Remove the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
3. Remove the front seat height adjuster electrical connector.
4. Remove the seat adjuster bolts.
5. Remove the seat adjuster.
6. Remove the front seat height adjuster actuator motor nuts (1) and adjuster nut (3).

7. Remove the front seat height adjuster actuator motor bolts and adjuster actuator motor.
8. Remove the front seat height adjuster.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Actuator Replacement - Front and Rear Vertical: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the front seat height adjuster.
2. Install the front seat height adjuster actuator motor and bolts.
Align actuator motor to seat height adjuster shaft when setting in place.

3. Install the front seat height adjuster actuator motor nuts (1) and adjuster nut (3).

Tighten
Tighten the front seat height adjuster actuator motor nuts until fully seated and not stripped.

4. Install the seat adjuster.
5. Install the seat adjuster bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the front seat adjuster bolts to 25 N.m (19 lb ft).

6. Install the front seat height adjuster electrical connectors.
7. Install the front seat cushion outer finish panel.
8. Install the front seat.
