Seat Temperature Relay: Service and Repair
REMOVAL PROCEDURESeat Cushion Heater Relay Replacement (Rear): Removal Procedure:
1. Remove the rear seat cushion
2. Remove the carpet on left side.
The carpet will have to be pulled back to expose relay location.
3. Remove the rear seat cushion heating element relay (1).
^ The relays for the rear seat heating elements are located under the rear seat on left side.
^ Insert a small screwdriver into the clip on the relay to release it.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
Seat Cushion Heater Relay Replacement (Rear): Installation Procedure:
1. Install the rear seat cushion heating element relay.
Install the relay back to its original location to prevent damage when installing the rear seat cushion.
2. Install carpet on left side.
Insert the carpet back to its original location.
3. Install the rear seat cushion.
