Lock Replacement (Front Door)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Lock Replacement (Front Door): Removal Procedure:

1. Disable SIR system If equipped with SIR side impact system.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3. Remove the front door water deflector.
4. Remove the Inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate if equipped.
5. Remove the front door inside handle rod.
6. Remove all rods that attach to the lock.

Lock Replacement (Front Door): Removal Procedure:

7. Remove the front door actuator electrical connectors.
8. Remove the front door lock screws.
9. Remove the front door lock from the door.
10. Remove the front door lock actuator screws.
11. Remove the front door lock actuator from the door lock.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Lock Replacement (Front Door): Installation Procedure:

1. Install the front door lock actuator to the door lock.
2. Install the front door lock actuator screws.

Lock Replacement (Front Door): Installation Procedure:

3. Install the front door lock to the door.
4. Install the front door lock screws.
5. Install the front door actuator electrical connectors.
6. Install all rods that attach to the lock.
7. Install the front door inside handle rod.
8. Install the Inflatable restraint side impact sensor mounting plate if equipped.
9. Install the front door water deflector.
10. Install front door trim panel.
11. Enable SIR system If equipped with SIR side impact system.
