Fuel Door: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Fuel Filler Door Replacement: Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the screws from the fuel tank filler door (2).
2. Remove the fuel tank filler door (2).
3. Remove the screws (4) from the fuel tank filler door latch plate (5).
4. Remove the fuel tank filler door latch plate (5).
5. Remove the seal (1) from the fuel tank filler door (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Fuel Filler Door Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the seal (1) to the fuel tank filler door (2).
2. Install the fuel tank tiller door latch plate (5).
3. Install the screws (4) to the fuel tank filler door latch plate (5).

Tighten
Tighten the fuel tank filler door latch plate screws until fully seated. Do NOT strip the fuel tank filler door latch plate screws.

4. Install the fuel tank filler door (2).
5. Install the screws to the fuel tank filler door (2).

Tighten
Tighten the fuel tank filler door screws until fully seated. Do NOT strip the fuel tank filler door screws.
