REMOVAL PROCEDURE
CAUTION: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the drivers door. When operated, the Express Down feature allows the door window to drop very quickly which could cause personal injury.

Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Door Window): Removal Procedure:

1. Disable SIR system, if equipped with inflatable restraint side impact system.
2. Front door trim panel.
3. Remove the water deflector.
4. Remove the inner belt sealing strip.
5. Remove the window run channel weather-strip:
^ Start at the upper rear corner of the door frame.
^ Pull out the strip from the upper and both lower channels.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Door Window): Installation Procedure:

1. Install the window run channel weather-strip:
^ Start at the upper rear corner of the door frame.
^ Insert the strip into the upper and both lower channels.
2. Install the inner belt sealing strip.
3. Install the water deflector.
4. Install the front door trim panel.
5. Enable SIR system, if equipped with inflatable restraint side impact system.
