REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Door Opening): Removal Procedure:

1. Remove the windshield upper garnish molding.
2. Move the front seat forward and upright.
3. Remove the front seat track outer cover screws.
4. Remove the covers.

Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Door Opening): Removal Procedure:

5. Remove the carpet retainer.
6. Remove the center pillar panel trim panel screws.
^ Grasp both sides of the trim panel and lightly pull back.
^ Center pillar does not have to be completely removed.
7. Rotate the clips in order to remove the I/P sound insulator panel, if driver side.
8. Remove the hinge pillar trim panel screws (driver side shown).
9. Remove the hinge pillar trim panel.

Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Door Opening): Removal Procedure:

10. Grasp the upper inner corner of the opening weather-strip in order to remove from the flange.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Door Opening): Installation Procedure:

1. Install the opening weather-strip starting at the upper inner corner, while seating to the flange with a rubber mallet.

Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Door Opening): Installation Procedure:

2. Install the hinge panel (driver side shown).
3. Install the hinge panel screws.
4. Rotate the clips in order to install the I/P sound insulator panel, if repairing the driver side.
5. Grasp both sides of the center pillar trim panel in order to fully seat.
6. Install the center pillar trim panel screws.

Weatherstrip Replacement (Front Door Opening): Installation Procedure:

7. Install the carpet retainer.
8. Install the front seat track covers.
9. Install the cover screws.
10. Move the front seat rearward.
11. Install the windshield upper garnish molding.
