REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Front Door Inside Handle Rod Replacement: Removal Procedure:

CAUTION: Disconnect the power window switch when working inside the divers door. When operated, the Express Down feature allows the door window to drop very quickly, which could cause personal injury.

1. Disable SIR system if equipped with SIR side impact system.
2. Remove the front door trim panel.
3. Remove the front door water deflector.
4. Remove the inside handle.
5. Unclip the rod from the guide.
6. Unclip the rod from the lock.
7. Remove the remote control lock rod.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Front Door Inside Handle Rod Replacement: Installation Procedure:

1. Install the remote control lock rod (1).
2. Clip the rod on the lock.
3. Clip the rod on the guide.
4. Remove the inside handle.
5. Remove the front door water deflector.
6. Remove the front door trim panel.
7. Enable SIR system if equipped with SIR side impact system.
